Michigan Tech Seeks To Break World Record For Snowmen

If you’re going to try to set a world record for building snowmen, you’re going to need a lot of snow.

The Undergraduate Student Government at Michigan Tech is organizing such an attempt at Sherman Field on February 10th.

The goal is to set the Guinness World Record for the most snowmen built in an hour.

The current record is 2,036 snowmen so they are trying to get the word out so people will come help set the record.

Students and the general public are invited to take part in the event scheduled for the weekend of Winter Carnival.

A Facebook event page has been set up for the Snowman Left Behind-Guinness World Record Attempt.
