Dong and Christina Chang, the owners of Sushi Samurai Inc. in Orchard Lake were eah charged with two counts of tax fraud. Officials say that the Changs were using “Zapper” Software that deletes sales record from the Point on Sale Terminal.

Its estimated that the couple took in $2.5 Million in sales that were never reported between 2012 and 2016, and used the money for business and personal expenses.

Authorities seized $386,000 that will be applied to the $980,479.00 in restitution,

The Changs are required to make payments of $7,500 per month toward the balance. At that rate, the balance would take 79 months to pay, not including any interest.
