The Portage Lake District Library will offer two training sessions for library patrons that will show how to read and download free digital magazines using the new RBdigital app on Wednesday, September 6, at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m.
Zinio for Libraries, which has been the app patrons have used to access the library’s more than 200 digital magazines, has merged with RBdigital. Patrons will soon only be able to access their magazine collection by using RBdigital.
At this training, participants will learn how to use the new, free RBdigital app, how to check out materials from their mobile device, and more. Those who participate should bring their own laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other digital device, and library staff will assist in downloading and troubleshooting.
