Keweenaw Community Foundation Cross Country Skiing Grants Available

Hancock, Michigan—The Keweenaw Cross Country Skiing Endowment Advisory Committee of the Keweenaw Community Foundation (KCF) is now accepting applications for its annual granting cycle. $2,586.14 is available from the Keweenaw Cross Country Skiing Endowment Fund for local organizations supporting skiing programs. To be considered, grant applications must be submitted to the KCF office no later than noon on September 6th, 2017. Grant award recipients will be announced by September 28th, 2017.

Applications are available on KCF’s website at http://keweenawcommunityfoundation.org/grants-scholarships/field-interest-grants/. Grants will be made to organizations or for programs previously demonstrating successful outcomes or to new, innovative organizations or programs with clear potential for positive outcomes.  Grants must be used to support skiing programs throughout the Houghton and Keweenaw Counties.

KCF welcomes partnerships in the Foundation and urges interested parties to share this information with their constituents and all sub-groups within their organization.  Tax deductible contributions may be made to the Keweenaw Cross Country Skiing Endowment Fund (or to any of KCF’s 80+ other funds) online at www.keweenawgives.org.  All contributions to a permanent endowment of KCF qualify for a Federal Tax Credit.
