Lake Linden: Angela Miller, 88, of Lake Linden, passed away at The Lighthouse at Hubbell on July 25, 2017. She was a resident there since April, 2016.
She was born February 24, 1929, the daughter of John and Agnes (Stimac) Fausone. She attended Houghton Schools, graduating with the class of 1948.
She married the love of her life, Peter Miller, on May 26, 1951. They were blessed to have 66 wonderful years together.
Angie enjoyed the family camp at Rice Lake, attending the grandchildren’s sporting events, watching hockey and football games on TV, camping, watching her game shows, and going to the fair and the casino.
She is survived by: her husband-Peter, also a resident at the Lighthouse at Hubbell; 2 sons-Norbert (Peggy) Miller of Lake Linden and Martin (Ann) Miller of Calumet; 3 grandchildren-Bryan (Addie) Miller of Calumet, Erik (Shanda) Miller of Lake Linden, and Jennifer (Tim) Niedzwiecki of Atlantic Mine; 10 great-grandchildren-Avery, Brynn, Ari, Braya, Teegen, Dallas, Alyssa, Tommy, Joey, and Lucas; a sister-Mary Bertie of L’Anse; a brother-Tony of St. Paul, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Lighthouse at Hubbell and the Hospice Team at Aspirus for the compassionate care given to Angie.
The Funeral Liturgy will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 27, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Father Augustine Essel to officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the start of the funeral on Thursday. Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.
