He’s recovering from facial lacerations he sustained when he was hit by a pitch.

Travis Shaw hit a three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning, and the Milwaukee Brewers held on to defeat the Atlanta Braves 7-5 last night. Closer Neftalí Feliz surrendered a leadoff home run to Jedd Gyorko in the bottom of the 10th, but then retired the next three batters to earn the save. Jonathan Villar also homered for Milwaukee.

The Brewers continue that series at St. Louis tonight. Wily Peralta will start against Carlos Martinez.

Milwaukee has designated pitcher Tommy Milone for assignment. If he clears waivers, he’ll be assigned to Colorado Springs. Rob Scahill has been called up from the Sky Sox to fill the vacancy.
