With Spring playing its cat and mouse game, local golf courses are waiting for their first tee offs of the year.
But that doesn’t mean crews are idle. They have been working hard to prepare the course for their first round of golfers.
Jeff Simpson is the Assistant Superintendent at the Portage Lake Golf Course.
He says the course is already looking pretty good.
Like all the golf courses in the area, when they are able to open depends on the weather.
