Spring Music Celebration & Silent Auction To Benefit Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home

By offering a place for women to go, the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home is often the first step to get out of an abusive relationship.

The shelter for victims of domestic violence is holding their 9th Annual Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home Spring Music Celebration & Silent Auction.

The event is one of the primary fundraisers for the shelter and takes place Saturday, May 6th from 7-9pm at the Orpheum Theater, home of the Studio Pizza in Hancock.

Music will be provided by Cheap Therapy until 10pm.

Shelter executive director Mary Niemela says people are welcome to stay through the event, or bid on items in the auction and come and go as they please.

Studio Pizza is donating the use of the Orpheum Theater and Cheap Therapy is donating their time and talent to The Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter for this event.

Light refreshments will be served.

They suggest a donation of $5 at the door, with all proceeds going to support the shelter.
