Golf Courses Oppose Ending Daylight Saving Time

Eliminating daylight savings in Michigan was on the table in Lansing today as lawmakers met to discuss a bill to end changing the clocks twice a year.

One of the biggest industries in the state was there to oppose the bill.

Jada Paisley with the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association says golf courses cannot put lights on every single hole.

She says the addition of early morning golfers wouldn’t off set losing those who play in the evenings.
