Leave Wildlife In The Wild

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is reminding Michigan residents to leave the wildlife in the wild.

An animal you might think has been abandoned by its mother, has just been hidden.

Hannah Schauer wildlife communications coordinator with the department, says most animal babies picked up by people do not survive, and the ones that do, cannot survive if reintroduced to the wild.
