Bill Would Allow Drivers To Use Their Smartphones To Show Registration

Republican Rep. Peter Lucido Shelby Township in Macomb County has introduced legislation that would allow motorists to use smart-phones to present copies of vehicle registrations when requested by law enforcement during traffic stops or accidents.

Lucido says electronics are moving things toward the future and drivers no longer have to be without such documents.
