Applications Still Being Accepted For Local Health & Well-Being Projects

Hancock, MI – The Portage Health Auxiliary is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to serve the health and well-being of elderly and youth causes in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon Counties.

The Auxiliary is pleased to announce that it will be accepting grant applications from non-profit organizations in the 4-county area it serves February 1, 2017 through February 28, 2017. The Auxiliary will be accepting grant applications for funding for health and well-being projects.

All requests for funding must be submitted on the Auxiliary’s grant application form. Forms can be picked up at The Guilded Rose Gift Shop, located in U P Health System-Portage, Hancock, or by contacting Barbara Worrall (phone 906-523-4445, or email gbworrall@live.com), or Connie Greenleaf (phone 906-487-9002, or email connie@chartermi.net).

Applications can be dropped off at The Guilded Rose Gift Shop, or mailed to Barbara Worrall-President, Portage Health Auxiliary, c/o The Guilded Rose Gift Shop, U P Health System, 500 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI, 49930. Applications must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2017 to be considered for funding. Late applications will not be considered.
