Hancock, MI–Tickets are still available for Keweenaw Gold, one of the Keweenaw Community Foundation’s most popular and important fundraising events of the year. This year’s event will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bonfire Steakhouse Bar & Grill on the 7th floor of the Magnuson Hotel in Houghton. This year’s theme is “Blueprints for Our Community’s Future” inspired by the legacy of Herman “Winks” Gundlach. The Herman Gundlach Fund is one of several endowments managed by KCF for the long-term betterment of the people of Houghton and Keweenaw counties.
Tickets are $75 with a portion of the ticket price eligible as a tax deductible charitable contribution. The event will be catered with a cash bar and live music. It is always a special evening that brings together many from across the Keweenaw to celebrate, enjoy good food and good company, and help raise funds for this important community foundation.
All proceeds raised during the event will go towards promoting the foundation’s mission to inspire giving that invests in our community’s quality of life.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by calling the KCF office at (906) 482-9673 or you can purchase tickets directly online at www.keweenawgives.org.
