Road Restrictions Go Into Effect Noon Friday

The latest thaw has triggered road restrictions, going into effect this Friday at noon.

The restrictions are for Houghton, Baraga, Keweenaw and Ontonagon Counties and will remain in effect until further notice.

Maximum legal axle loads will be reduced to 65% of normal loads as prescribed by the Michigan Vehicle Code.
