Tigers Blow Lead, Fall to Indians
For six innings, the Indians could do nothing against Anibal Sanchez. In the seventh, they erupted for seven runs, and went on to beat the Tigers 9-3. Sanchez was charged with four of those seven inning runs. Ian Kroll gave up an rbi double to the only batter he faced – pinch hitter Ryan Raburn. Al Alburquerque came in with two runners on and no outs. He struck out the first two batters he faced… but then gave up home runs to Jason Kipnis and Asdrubel Cabrera. Kipnis added another homer in the ninth inning.
