If you need a little Christmas, make your way up to Calumet this weekend.
The annual Christmas in Calumet season officially kicks off this evening with the lighting of the tree in the park next to the Calumet Theater at 7:00pm.
There will live music, refreshments and community caroling.
Main Street Calumet Director Leah Polzien says people can stay and enjoy the First Friday event.
Santa visits the Vertin Gallery in downtown Calumet Saturday.
You can also take a horse-drawn wagon ride and shoppers will enjoy live music from Bob Norden and his Band of Merry Musicians who will circulate throughout the downtown playing Christmas Carols.
