Thanksgiving Traveles Hit The Road

Over 1.5 million Michiganders will hit the road for Thanksgiving.

AAA says this is a two percent increase over last year–the seventh consecutive year of growth–and the most travelers for the holiday since 2007.

Rising wages, falling gas prices and high consumer confidence all behind the surge.

While more Michiganders are on the go, fewer will be flying to see loved ones for the holidays– a 2 percent decrease.
