Part of a teenager maturing and gaining independence means trying new things. And that can include what they eat.
A C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health at the University of Michigan finds one in six parents say their teen has tried a diet that is vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan or paleo at some point in the past two years.
This can lead to added costs as well as challenges for families.
