Michigan 17th “Fattest” State

Michigan weighs in at number 17 on a new ranking of the fattest states in the U.S.

The WalletHub rankings are based on percentage of people who are overweight, sugary beverage consumption, and other data.

Mississippi topped the list, followed by Louisiana and Arkansas.

The fittest states were Utah, Colorado, and New Jersey.
