Multi-Billion Dollar Settlement Approved In VW Cheating Case

A federal judge has approved the $14.7 billion settlement between Volkswagen, regulators and owners of 475,000 diesel vehicles.

Over a year ago, VW admitted to using secret software in diesel vehicles to cheat exhaust emissions tests. The agreement includes ten billion dollars to buy back vehicles.
