Hancock Schools Hope For A Full-Time Library Director

Hancock Schools are asking for help in improving the Public Library.

The library is located within the school but cutbacks have left the city without a dedicated library director.

Hancock Schools Superintendent Monica Healy and former librarian Sue Zubiena gave a presentation to the city council, showing the drop in services and programs since Zubiena was taken out of the library and put in the classroom.

Their hope is that the city of Hancock, along with the townships of Quincy, Franklin and Hancock, will work together to find a way to provide a full-time library director.
