Quincy Street Could Be Fully Open Next Week

It’s almost done!

Hancock City Manager Glenn Anderson said the Quincy Street reconstruction project should be wrapping up soon.

Paving of the south lane took place earlier this week with the north lane scheduled to be paved beginning today.

Poor weather had caused some delays.

Anderson said the traffic light at the west end of downtown should be removed early next week.

Center stripes will then be added and he said they should be back to full traffic mode by the middle of the week.
