2nd Climate Change Cafe Tonight In Hancock

The Keweenaw Climate Community group continues their series of discussion-centered events tonight at the Orpheum Theater in Hancock.

The event takes place from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

In the second of a four-part event series, the group will cover the causes of climate change.

A short presentation on the history of global energy usage will be followed with an open discussion.

Over 80 people came out to discuss the science of climate change at the first event of the series last month.

The final two events will be on November 3 and December 1.

Don’t worry if you missed the first event, all are welcome to attend including kids, and there is no admission charge, but donations to help cover food and space rental costs will be accepted.

Free pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

The series is organized by the Keweenaw Climate Community and is sponsored by the local chapter of the American Chemical Society and the Department of Social Sciences at Michigan Tech.
