Suicide Legislation Introduced In State House

“Death with dignity.” That’s the gist of new legislation from a pair of Lansing-area lawmakers.

They want Michigan residents suffering from terminal illnesses to be able to pull the plug on themselves if they’re ready to die and want to go on their terms.

State representative Tom Cochrane says this is not physician assisted suicide.

He hopes to see movement on the proposal in January.
