Early College Welding Program Coming To Calumet High School

Calumet High School Principal Chris Davidson informed the Boardof ductaion at their October meeting that the high school received a $20,646 Career and Technical Education Planning Grant though the Michigan Department of Education.

The funds will be used to plan for an early college welding program, where students will earn college credit while still in high school.

Calumet High School is partnering with Gogebic Community College and the Copper Country Intermediate School District in the planning phase.
