Though the issue of climate change continues to be hotly debated among political pundits, scientists find themselves nearly all in agreement.
That’s Michigan Tech Chemistry Professor Sarah Green.
She is taking part in a series of Climate Science Café’s that will give the public a chance to ask questions and get information from experts on climate change.
These are informal gatherings meant to generate a discussion on a topic that affects everyone.
The series is being presented by the Keweenaw Climate Community and sponsored by the local chapter of the American Chemical Society and the Department of Social Sciences at Michigan Tech.
The first of four events will be held this evening at 6pm at the Orpheum Theater.
Additional Climate Science Café’s will be held October 6th, November 3rd and December 1st.
