Self-Driving Car Tests On Public Roads Approved

Legislation that would keep Michigan at the forefront of self-driving cars has won unanimous approval in the state senate.

It would no longer require a passenger inside a self-driving car while going through tests on public roads.

The bill could reach the governor’s desk within months.
