Tuition Costs Continue To Rise

Michigan college tuition costs are sixth highest in the nation while state college funding has dropped $262 million since 2003.

That’s according to a Back To School Report from the Michigan League for Public Policy.

Vice-president of the League, Karen Holcomb-Merrill, says there are things state policy makers can do.

Holcomb-Merrill says because of the high tuition costs, Michigan students graduate with an average of nearly $30,000 in debt.
