Come Learn About The National Marine Sanctuary Program

The Houghton-Keweenaw Conservation District invites you to come learn about the National Marine Sanctuary Program for the Great Lakes.

Featured Speakers will include Sandra Clark from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Ellen Brody, Great Lakes Regional Coordinator from the NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries.

You’ll also learn about opportunities for Great Lakes communities, and how Michigan has participated in this program with the Thunder Bay NMS.

The presentations will be given Tuesday at the Eagle River Community Center at 6:30pm and Wednesday at the Keweenaw County Courthouse in Eagle River at 7pm, during the regular meeting of the County Board of Commissioners.
