Day two of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Before going to the Quicken Loans Arena later this morning, Michigan’s delegates will be hearing from Ohio Governor John Kasich.
Some of the keynote speeches tonight under the theme Make America Work Again will come from Tiffany Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., and former candidate Dr. Ben Carson.
Among the early “Day One” speakers in Cleveland was Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette.
Schuette made reference to the recent shootings of two court bailiffs in West Michigan’s Berrien County.
After recent tragedies, Schuette spoke about honoring law enforcement.
Schuette also spoke of the ongoing Flint Water Crisis, saying “the families of Flint have not received justice.”
Although the presidential election isn’t until November, primary elections in Michigan are two weeks from today, August 2nd.
