Calumet Prepares For First Ever Musical Festival In Agassiz Park

Tickets are on sale as preparations continue for the first ever Calumet Music Festival in Agassiz Park.

The event will take place on August 6th and will include a full day of music, food and fun.

Performers include the Wingnuts, Boodie Creek, Tom Katalin and headliner Hadden Sayers Band from Houston, Texas.

Food will be provided by Carmelita’s, Connie’s Kitchen, the Denali Restaurant, and L&L Bar.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 the day of and will be sold at the Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau in Calumet.

The first 300 tickets sold will receive an engraved glass mug to celebrate the start of the festival as well as a 16 oz. plastic cup to use the day of.

Volunteers are needed for the event.  Anyone interested in helping out is asked to contact the Keweenaw Convention and Visitors Bureau.
