Study May Lead To New Type 2 Diabetes Treatments

Type 2 diabetes is a growing threat around the world, with one in 10 people either having the disease or predicted to develop it during their lifetime. In a new study, researchers were able to identify a number of genes directly linked to its development.

University of Michigan researcher Mike Benecke.

They hope this new information will lead to the development of drugs to treat and prevent type 2 diabetes.
