MSP Officers To Help With Republican Convention In Cleveland

More than 100 Michigan State Police officers are being sent to Cleveland to help with security and crowd management at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

They’ll spend seven days working the convention, and will be reimbursed under an interstate Emergency Management Assistance Compact request from Cleveland.

The convention runs July 18-21.
