Sanchez gave up two solo home runs in the first inning, and single runs in the second and third. He left after the fifth, and took the loss. The Indians added two late runs off reliever Mark Lowe. The Tigers collected just four hits off Cleveland starter Carlos Carrasco, who went the distance, and struck out seven.
