Governor Signs DPS Legislation

There was no elaborate ceremony as Governor Rick Snyder signed a $617 million bailout and restructuring plan for the Detroit Public School district.

Lansing Bureau Chief Tim Skubick says Snyder signed the legislation in the privacy of his office, without any fanfare.
