Snyder Vetoes Harbor Permit Fee Cut

The governor’s office says Rick Snyder has vetoed a bill that would have cut certain permit fees for noncommercial residential harbors.

His office cites the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality would have lost their ability to process permits because the bill would have created a $166,000 annual loss to the department.
