The Memorial Day Holiday weekend is here.
AAA says low gas prices and a strong labor market will mean 1.2 million people from across Michigan will be traveling this Memorial Day weekend.
That’s up two percent from last year–and the highest total in nearly a decade.
91 percent of those going more than 50 miles from home will do so by car.
Meantime, Michigan State Police and local departments will be taking part in the Click It or Ticket campaign.
It’s an effort to get more drivers to buckle up.
