Statewide Tour Looks For Ways To Generate Local Revenue

Got any ideas how Michigan’s cities and towns can raise more money to pay for things like infrastructure and roads?

Wayne County Executive Warren Evans wants to hear those ideas as he kicks off a statewide tour today.

Evans claims Wayne County and its communities have lost $1.2 billion in revenue sharing since 2002.

Tour stops are planned for Grand Rapids in July, the Upper Peninsula in August, Lansing in September and Traverse City in October.
