President Barack Obama returned to Flint, getting an update on the city’s ongoing water crisis.
The President met with Governor Snyder, federal and state officials as well as Flint residents.
He assured Flint residents that federal response teams have been working around the clock to make sure their daily needs are being taken care of.
Obama said this disaster could have been avoided.
The president says the city’s water is now filtered and safe, and he says he’s confident the city can rebuild and move forward.
Earlier in the day, Obama drank a glass of filtered water.
