New LGBTQ Guidelines Adopted By Metro-Detroit School District

One downstate school district isn’t waiting for the public comment period to be over.

With a unanimous vote last night, the Ferndale Schools Board adopted two resolutions which support guidelines set by the State Board of Education to protect the rights of LGBTQ students.

Jennifer LaTosch is the Board’s President.

A second resolution bans the use of district funds to travel to the states of North Carolina and Mississippi.
