Lutheran Social Services Changes Name

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan has re-branded itself under a new name and logo. The CEO of what is now Samaritas, Sam Beals, says its not the first time they’ve considered a name change, but an increasingly diverse population brought the need for a more inclusive name.

Beals says the new name hasn’t changed their array of human services, including the resettling over 4,000 refugees in Michigan each year.
