Ford Says New Mexico Auto Assembly Plant Will Not Cost U.S. Jobs

Controversy over Ford’s announcement that it will build a new $1.6 billion assembly plant in Mexico rages on.

UAW President Dennis Williams calls the decision “a disappointment and very troubling” and says it will cost jobs.

Ford President of the Americas Joe Hinrichs disagrees.
