Gerber Issues Recall Of Certain Baby Foods

Fremont-based Gerber Products Company is voluntarily recalling specific Organic baby food products that are sold in pouches.

The company had identified a packaging defect that could lead to spoilage during transport and handling.

The company is now trying to retrieve the products from stores.

They’re also offering replacement coupons for consumers.

The products in question include 3.5 ounce pears, carrots and peas, as well as packages of apples and mangoes.

The best by dates and batch codes are as follows: 3.5 ounce pears, carrots and peas pouch with best by dates of July 12, 2016 and July 13, 2016 and batch codes of 51945335XX and 51955335XX.

Also, 3.5 ounce carrots, apples and mangoes pouch with best by dates of July 13, 2016 and July 14, 2016 and batch codes of 51955335XX and 51965335XX.
