Portage Family Birthing Center and Portage Pointe Temporarily Closed To Visiting Children

HANCOCK, Mich. – The Family Birthing Center and PortagePointe at UP Health System – Portage are temporarily closed to visiting children, including siblings, due to the high numbers of respiratory illness and influenza in the community.

This restriction is effective for children under the age of 12 at the birthing center, age 18 at PortagePointe, and anybody experiencing any respiratory or flu-like symptoms.

For any questions regarding your visit please call 906-483-1234 for the Family Birthing Center or 906-483-1300 for PortagePointe.
