The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a fatal snowmobile accident by Negaunee Regional dispatch.
The accident occurred on Trail #13, 1/4mile South of Old Victoria Rd. in Rockland Township.
It is believed the driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Brady Allan Kuennen of Waucoma, Iowa was traveling on Trail #13 when he lost control fell off snowmobile and struck a tree.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
The accident is still under investigation.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Rockland Township Fire Dept. Sonco Ambulance, and the Michigan State Police.
