Flint Residents Protest Water Crisis at the Capitol

Flint residents took their beef with the governor and how he’s handled the city’s water crisis to the Capitol Thursday.

A hundred or so folks from Flint filled in around the Capitol’s cavernous rotunda, pounded on the railing and chanted: “Governor Snyder’s got to go.”

House Democratic Leader Tim Greimel agrees, if the governor knew more about the rising lead levels in Flint’s water before he says he did.

If that’s the case, then Greimel says the governor should resign.

Governor Rick Snyder says he first got word of the problems with Flint’s drinking water on October 1st, even though a state agency and the feds had been talking about the problem six months prior.
