Iron Mountain Police are continuing to investigate an incident over the weekend in which a man impersonated a police officer. A woman says her car was stopped late Saturday night on West D Street near Hemlock Street by a man she believed to be a police officer driving an older black Chevrolet Impala with a push bumper, spot light and red bubble type light located atop the vehicle. A check was made and there were no traffic stops in the area at that time by any of the local police agencies. Police are currently looking for the vehicle and the incident is under investigation. Anyone with information concerning the incident should be forwarded to Iron Mountain Police Department.
