A new business is coming to town and it’s home will be the old backroom building in dowtown Houghton. AirWave is bringing the water sports industry and indoor recreation to the downtown area. Among the services they will provide are a retail store, lessons and rentals on the lake and various indoor activities. The building had been vacant for more than a year and Business Development Director Susie Landers says the business will be a great addition to the downtown landscape.
The new owners took possession of the building this week and they hope to bring more activities to the city’s waterfront. An official opening has not yet been scheduled.
