Bike to Work Day

Today is Keweenaw Bike to Work Day and a local group will be holding an event to celebrate the cause. A bike advocacy group called Bike Initiative Keweenaw will have stations set up across the Copper Country. The stations will be on the Houghton Waterfront Trail near the Lift Bridge, on the Michigan Tech campus, in McGann’s parking lot in Hancock, on Campus Drive near Portage Health, in Calumet on US-41 by the CLK schools and on M-26 at Lake Linden Village Park and in South Range. The stations will be open until 9am and later from 4pm to 6pm. You can register for the event at the these stations.
