Snow Plow Safety Advice

Snow plows will be hitting the roads bright and early but some drivers need to be cautious when driving near them as to not cause any damage to their vehicle or the plow. Road Commission Superintendent Ray Saatio says there are a few things people can do when they are behind a snow plow.

Heavy equipment operator Keith Jenich adds that those who shovel or plow their snow to the street don’t know how dangerous that is.

Many property owners have already been issued warnings about plowing or shoveling into the street, a ticketable offense. If you have any questions or concerns about snow plow safety, contact the Road Commission.
